I can definitely say that I couldn't be happier with my puppy that I was fortunate to bring home at the end of Nov. 2014. My pup now is 4.5 months old and has been incredible. he's so smart, has a great temper and I seriously can't wait to see how he matures over time. As for Dawn and her family - they were fantastic. My pup unfortunately didn't take to his mom for the first 3 wks, so Dawn had to feed him every few hours through a syringe and bottle - even throughout the night. They are so caring, knowledgeable, helpful with any questions and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to bring home a GSD. Again, thank you Von Rothhaus!

I contacted Von Rothhaus GS in the spring and, even though I was from out of province and could not meet the puppies, Dawn was most accommodating. She was very patient and understanding and answered all of my questions (even silly questions after I got my wee pooch!!) Dawn is very patient, compassionate and understanding; she is a very busy woman yet has always been quick to respond to any emails, etc). I have had Oliver for 2 months now; he has almost tripled in size and is the most beautiful, gentle and good tempered puppy! Yes, still a few puppy chews but he is growing out of those quickly. Puppy Daycare says he is so wonderful and fun loving! Obviously comes from very intelligent parents as he is learning so quickly at puppy training school. He is such a joy to my life; so very thrilled to have him! Thanks so much Dawn and Von Rothhaus!! Love my Oliver!

Jamie Billings and I are the proud parents of One of Dawn Mcmurray-Heuckroth German Shepherd puppies, his name is Indigo and he was born on family day Feb. 20th. We also have a 9yr old German Shepherd at home named Eddi. Unfortunately Eddi got hurt over Xmas and he is no longer able to work. You see Eddi is a medical service dog for my husband.
After many hours of research and chatting with Dawn about her puppies we decided this was the breeder for us and Dawn must have thought we were good people too because she agreed to let us have one of her babies.
Indigo is 4 months old and smart as a whip. He is so eager to learn and wants to please us we could not have asked for a better dog. We still have Eddi and he tries to help with Indy, we are lucky to have found Dawn and her puppies. If you have one of her Shepherds you will have a great friend for life. Thank you Dawn.
