Von Rothhaus German Shepherds is a small family owned establishment. We are located 45 min North of Kitchener Waterloo area. We live on a small hobby farm with 100 acres for the dogs enjoy running training and soon doing agility on. Our facilities have a heated area for housing our dogs and a large heated training room. We have an outdoor agility field and the dog will have their own pool to practice Dock Diving.
We currently are breeding Sables, traditional black/tan, and pure blacks. All of our dogs have their Hip/Elbow OFA/SV Cert and/or Pre-lims approved by Grahams Animal Hospital. Our dogs are all DM tested or clear by parentage. Our dogs all have amazing temperaments and most of our dogs hold titles in some kind of sport and Obedience trials. Many of our dogs hold titles in IPO.
We stride to Breed the best quality Working Line German Shepherds, with calm temperament, good structure and a sound mind. Our dogs all have great training ability and will be amazing family pets as well as thrive in Obedience competition and confirmation. Some will also have higher drive and be suitable for working homes. Several of our puppies have gone on to be trained as services dogs,and one is a SAR dog.
Our puppies are born and raised in our house with us and our 4 children. All puppies are played with pretty much from the min they are born. Puppies are socialized with visitors coming to the farm, they are also introduced to many different sounds and a variety of surfaces to walk on.
Many of our puppies have been homed all over Canada and the United States. We use West Jet and Air Canada, United and American Airlines for shipping our puppies.
